CHARACTER: Alec "Alice" Liddel
BASIC INFORMATION: This is a genderswapped grown-up sad-boy AU version of Alice because I am garbage and can't be left alone with nice things. He had kind of a rough childhood and developed some hardcore dependency on escapism to cope with it, but now that he's out of all of that and trying to live his normal life, his brain is still wired for past trauma and he has problems not just always escaping to "Wonderland" any time anything is even remotely scary out in the real world.
Alec is kind of a mess; on the one hand, he deals with a lot of heavy stuff revolving around his own identity and crushing loneliness and self-deprecation and a tentative (at best) grip on actual reality, but he's also perfectly good for cute threads where he's nervous and quirky but ultimately means well and tries very hard to be a good friend.
He likes tea. And rabbits. And books! And scarves. And shopping, people watching, daydreaming, going on walks, eating food, listening to other people tell stories, and not being told to go away even though he's kind of a mess. He is very curious about anything and everything, especially unusual people.
CURRENT PLANS: HONESTLY just getting him to make some friends and acknowledge that his farm exists.
WANTED CR: This kid needs someone who will take care of him because otherwise he will not remember to feed himself and he will not run his farm and he will just wander off into the woods and come out three days later because he got lost. I'm also really down for CR that makes him question his reality or causes him to actually fucking acknowledge any of his traumas or negative coping mechanisms. He does surprisingly well with cunning scary types because he is smart enough to keep up, but dumb enough to keep talking to them.

I'm loving it too! And just glimpsing his app in info...yeah, he and Toby definitely have some common Trauma they can ignore together.
It's likely he'll find out pretty quickly since illusions are Exhausting for Toby and once she realizes she's not going to get shackled with iron for it she won't bother most days. BASIC INFORMATION: The quickest way to describe Phalanx is that they are like a stack of kids in a trench coat trying to get into an adult movie, if those kids were actually a pile of ghost-pieces inhabiting one body, and they were trying to pass as a single entity instead of a grown-up. On the outside, they are an unsettling-but-extremely-harmless-looking human, but it's all kinds of crowded and crazy on the inside.
They don't know how they came to exist, or why, or what all of these disjointed memory pieces they have actually mean, but being sort-of-alive now is a pretty great thing and they're happy to be here. Phalanx is a generally placid and friendly being, if chronically confused, and has been wandering without a place to be for as long as they can remember existing in this body. They will very much appreciate having a space of their own in the Valley... even if they'll end up wandering away from their own property more often than not.
Phalanx will ping as magical, haunted, maybe even as undead, to those who can sense it, but they are not a tormented bundle of spirits. Who knows what they might be capable of if they'd actually had their shit together, but since even talking and walking is a frequent challenge, they're basically the most harmless, amiable eldritch horror you will ever meet. (I will have a for-real information post in Phalanx's journal eventually, I promise!)
CURRENT PLANS: None! Phalanx is a being of wandering and aimless curiosity, so they're basically the best for random encounters and weird CR. Throwing them random places when I have the tagging urge is literally all I have planned for them.
WANTED CR: Pretty much anything?? I've been out of the RP game for a long time and I miss being around people, so I'm kind of hungry for anything. Phalanx needs very little reason to be somewhere and be curious about a thing, and they tend to bounce back from (and often forget) things that happen, so they're hard to make a permanent dent on. I'm very happy with random things that don't need reason, either dark or fluffy, and just seeing where things go. I'm easy!

He'll mingle and try not to rock the boat while keeping what he is as much on the down low as possible, not just because he can't regain essence if he uses any of his power here (not without rocking said boat) but because he's still just curious and what he is tends to freak people out.
