CANON: Star Trek: Deep Space 9 CHARACTER: Dr. Julian Bashir BASIC INFORMATION: A 30yo Starfleet doctor from THE FUTURE who is secretly genetically enhanced to be like pretty much The Best at many things physically and mentally (he's a friggin' genius and it's annoying), but because in his own time and place genetic resequencing is ILLEGAL he has to pretend he is A Normal Human, and he's been doing that since age 15 when he first learned his parents had done this thing to him (at four years old, I should mention). He has issues with his parents but thankfully they are not here so THINGS ARE FINE, honestly he's glad to be even further away from them than normal.
He is sweet and flirty but also from a PSL AU where he's just learned Odo (odont) is his soulmate, so that's a thing. He enjoys meeting new people from different cultures, and enjoys talking philosophy, art, sociology, and of course science, especially medical science. He's still from early seasons and a bit green so he occasionally sticks his foot in his mouth.
CURRENT PLANS: He's sharing a farm with Odo and they're gonna farm to earn some money and eventually start a business (A SPA called "Deep Spa 9" because we're dorks and they're dorks). He's gonna be asking people about their worlds and what their cultures are like because he's very interested in that. Like, do you have predestined soulmates too or is that just a thing from his universe? WANTED CR: Everything? Non-humans would be very interesting. He's good with kids, so I welcome that CR. He will help doctor if anyone needs that, and will eventually be offering massages for people sore from farming and stuff.
